Dr. (Prof.) Harsh Wardhan is one of India’s most experienced and respected Cardiologists, with over 50 years of clinical, academic, and research excellence in the field of cardiovascular medicine. He currently serves as Principal Director – Cardiac Sciences at Supreme Hospital, Faridabad, and Honorary Professor at Indira Gandhi Technological and Medical Sciences University, Arunachal Pradesh.
After completing his MBBS and MD (Medicine) from Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi University, Dr. Wardhan pursued DM (Cardiology) from the prestigious G.B. Pant Hospital, New Delhi. He has held several leadership positions at renowned institutions, including Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, Safdarjung Hospital, Rockland Hospitals, Primus Super Specialty Hospital, and Mahatma Gandhi Medical College & Hospital, Jaipur.
Dr. Wardhan played a pioneering role in establishing Interventional Cardiology programs at Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, Rockland Hospitals, and Primus Hospital. He has received advanced international training through the Commonwealth Medical Scholarship (UK), WHO Fellowship (USA & Netherlands), and JICA Fellowship (Japan) in Interventional Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology.
An acclaimed academician, researcher, and mentor, Dr. Wardhan has authored more than 60 scientific publications, textbook chapters, consensus documents, and review articles in reputed national and international journals. He has guided numerous postgraduate and super-specialty theses and continues to contribute significantly to cardiovascular education and research.
